stakefish Security Update

stakefish Security Update

Our staking services were not affected by the NPM Supply Chain and SwissBorg incidents reported on September 8, 2025. All delegator assets remain secure, and our operations continue without disruption. Following the news, we performed an internal review to validate the resilience of our infrastructure.

Our Security Approach

At stakefish, we’ve built our validator infrastructure on principles of decentralization and safety first. We take a deliberately conservative approach to software changes and dependency management, which reduces exposure to supply-chain and vendor risks.

Key elements of our staking services:

  • Non-custodial by default: We never hold or manage customer assets. Stakers always maintain control of their keys.
  • Defense in layers: Multi-cloud deployments, zero-trust access, hardened key management, and strict review processes ensure resilience across environments.
  • Operational discipline: We emphasize careful review and staged rollouts over rushing updates, prioritizing safety over speed.
  • Ongoing monitoring: Our security and engineering teams actively test, monitor, and simulate potential attack scenarios to stay ahead of threats.

We remain committed to safeguarding the networks we secure and the stakers who delegate with us. If you have questions about our security or would like further details, please reach out directly.
