Introduction

Stakefish, the world’s leading staking pool, is excited to share that we are now running the MEV-enabled client for our Solana validators.

All stakefish Solana stakers will now earn additional MEV rewards.

What is MEV?

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) rewards are paid by Solana blockchain users, mainly MEV searchers looking to capitalize on trading arbitrage and liquidation opportunities. MEV is a term used to encapsulate the profit a validator can make by including, excluding, and reordering transactions in the blocks they create.

As Solana has hit a record number of transactions and trading volume, MEV has become a strong use case. We currently operate a Jito-Solana client which offers the highest MEV rewards. It optimizes for priority fees, allowing validators and traders to capture MEV while minimizing slippage and latency. It’s important to note that you do not need the Jito liquid token to get MEV. Jito is a Solana validator client that stakefish operates to propose MEV blocks in order to capture rewards. Native stakers earn rewards with no contract risk.

We continue to monitor new opportunities to maximize your rewards, like the much anticipated Firedancer client developed by Jump Crypto. The Firedancer client aims to significantly improve the throughput, efficiency, and resilience of the Solana blockchain by optimizing key areas of the network's infrastructure.

Rewards & Commission

We charge a 10% commission rate on MEV rewards, which are paid directly in SOL to your wallet. You can identify the transaction by the sender, Jito Merkle Upload Authority, like in this post. Our team is launching a fully featured dashboard to track all your rewards later this year.
