We are happy to announce that the Batch Deposit Contract has officially been audited by Runtime Verification. Specifically, we have worked closely with Daejun Park of Runtime Verification, who has previously conducted an end-to-end formal verification of the Ethereum 2.0 deposit smart contract, to conduct this audit. We want to thank the Runtime Verification team for being diligent, helpful, and extremely responsive throughout the engagement. The statement below is a summary from the audit report written by their team.
Runtime Verification, Inc. conducted a security audit on the BatchDeposit contract written by the stakefish team. Both the source code and the compiled bytecode were carefully reviewed, and no critical issues but a few minor issues were found. All the minor findings have been properly addressed in the latest version.
Since our announcement of the Batch Deposit Contract, we were thrilled to see how well it was received by the community.
We wanted to especially give a shout out to Andrew, who has forked our Batch Deposit Contract to strip out its fee portion. The fee logic was relevant to any staking service providers like ours, but would not be important to users looking to use the contract for their own purposes without the help of a validator service. We wanted to thank Andrew for taking the time to review and open source a fee-less version of the Batch Deposit Contract!
Now with the Batch Deposit Contract officially audited, we are extremely close to launching our Ethereum 2.0 staking platform. We are grateful to all the community members who have shown strong interest in staking with us, and we can’t wait to open the platform.
